Introducing the new Kokochi DX-4000QVP, JUKI's newest professional-quality sewing machine. Reflecting on JUKI's heritage, the DX-4000QVP was crowned with the Japanese name Kokochi meaning "good feeling".
Customers will experience "Kokochi" when using new, state-of-the-art features found on the large LCD screen like touch and swipe capabilities, on-screen editing, one-touch button to lower feed dogs, and exclusive JUKI Sewing Net.

The DX-4000QVP Kokochi is the newest machine in the QVP line.

Touchscreen editing

The touchscreen on the DX-4000QVP allows you to easily edit the stitch design, needle position, and thread tension, lift or lower the presser foot, and turn thread trimming on or off.

This machine features new built-in stitches not included on previous models. Simply touch a stitch on the touchscreen to bring up that category of stitches. Then swipe to the left or right to browse other stitch categories. You can scroll through the different stitches simply by swiping up or down on the touchscreen.

Select your stitch and you now have on-screen editing capabilities! The knobs below the screen allow you to adjust the presser foot pressure, 10mm stitch length for basting, and 7mm stitch width on many patterns. The sample stitch on the screen will change in real time with you adjustments.

By tapping the thread tension icon on the screen will take you to the new integrated wheel on the touchscreen that will allow you to change the thread tension. Simply swipe left or right on the screen to turn the wheel and adjust your thread tension. Tap anywhere on the screen to go back to the editing menu.

JUKI Sewing Net
This new, exclusive feature will allow you to access the JUKI website straight from your machine! Projects can be opened and videos can be played. Downloadable instructions can also be opened on the screen. Want to watch a video on Youtube on your machine? Simply touch the Youtube icon on the screen! You can watch JUKI YouTube channel tutorials directly on your machine, no smartphone or laptop required!

Sew Tapering:Maximum Sewing Speed Increased range for the angle and direction settings have expanded the possibilities for sewing tapering. Select the angle and direction. You may also set a stitch length in advance or store the length of the stitches that were sewn. By using the memory and inversion functions, star-shaped appliques are finished beautifully.

Large LCD Touch Screen With a large LCD touch screen, you can change settings and turn on/off features. With this feature, you can clearly see current settings and features with dark mode (black screen with white letters) with active settings and edited features highlighted in blue. On the screen, you will also have the ability to change stitches and create new patterns as well as view the history of past stitches. Additionally, the dials at the bottom allow you to change stitch width and length. This change is reflected on the screen. 7" Color Touch Panel: Just like on a smartphone or tablet, intuitively select and edit patterns, change various settings, and view instructional videos. With only the most important and frequent used operations available, the layout and user friendliness of icons are revolutionary.

Built-In Instructional Videos: View instructional videos on your smartphone by scanning the QR code of the specific instruction you need. From the screen, you may also select the title of the operating procedure that you want to view. An animation will show on screen with instructions.

Visualization of Settings & Adjustments:Maximum Sewing Speed Changes in settings and adjustments can be visualized through animation. Adjust the thread tension by sliding your finger over the scale in front of the touch panel. The animal changes according to the adjustment value. Settings that differ from default is highlighted in blue.

Store and Recall Stitches: The last 10 stitches are stored in the stitch history. View illustrations of stitch patterns in the history folder to ifendity and select them with a single touch.

Being able to change the presser foot pressure while sewing allows you to immediately respond to uneven stitching and feeding.

Various Presser Foot Lifting Functions:Knee Lifter Lever Now equipped with the same mechanism as JUKI industrial sewing machines for preventing uneven sewing on quilts and velvet, as well as stretched stitches on knit fabrics. The presser dial allows you to raise the presser foot slightly to prevent uneven feeding and achieve a beautiful finish. Other functions include feed dogs can lower automatically when the presser foot is raised to add an extra lift with the knee lifting lever. This prevents the fabric from getting caught on the feed dog and allows the fabric to be taken in and out smoothly. Third function is the pivot function which allows you to easily change the sewing direction while leaving both hands on the fabric, for example, when sewing corners of appliques.
