Foot Lift Function

The Kirei HZL-NX7 is also equipped with a micro-lifter presser foot function. This function reduces uneven sewing on quilts and velvets.

When the presser foot is raised, the feed dogs automatically lower for easy placement of fabrics.

HZL & DX Series: Oil or No Oil? A common question we receive quite often! The HZL and DX series machines do not need to be oiled as they come lubricated from factory hence why it is not mentioned in the manual. Go figure! But there are times when you may feel the machine needs to be oiled. Here is how: 1. Turn off the machine. 2. Remove the presser foot, throat plate, and bobbin. 3. Clean the area thoroughly. 4. Lubricate magnetic ring with 1-2 drops of sewing machine oil. 5. Take a cloth and wipe away excess oil. 6. Test the machine.

LARGE CREATIVE WORKSPACE Juki's HZL-NX7 feature's a large creative space that is great for large projects. This sewing machine features a 12" workspace to the right of the needle and comes standard with a large quilting table. The table measures 22" long by 13-1/2" wide and gives you more support for sewing larger projects such as quilts.

JUKI SMART FEED (JSF) The JSF or dual feed function is used to move the top layer of fabric in tandem with the lower layer. The JSF is ideal for sewing thinner fabrics like knit, jersey, vinyl cloth, or pleather that have a tendency to shift.

LCD DISPLAY The color touch panel will allow you to quickly change settings such as thread tension, presser foot pressure, pivot function, drop feed, automatic thread trimming, and more. You can also select, combine, and save your favorite stitches. Included with the HZL-NX7 is a stylus if you would prefer to keep your display fingerprint clear.
