Sometimes called a "Rail & Clamp" system, sash frames have been (and continue to be) one of the most frequently used methods of hooping/framing in the commercial embroidery industry. Why? When registration is critical and the fabric must be held tight, many would argue there is no better system. Projects such as quilting, patches & badges, free standing lace, photo stitch, end-to-end quilting and towels (just to name a few) have a perfect partner with Durkee Sash Frames.

Due to physical space limitations with flat bed machines combined with the necessary size and placement of the rails and clamps, the available "SEWING FIELD" will be slightly less than your machines capability. Specifically, if your Brother or Baby Lock machine has a Maximum Sewing Field of 10 5/8" x 16" you may select either the 9 1/2" x 14" Sash Frame or the 8" x 12" Sash Frame. If your Brother or Baby Lock machine has a Maximum Sewing Field of 9 1/2" x 14" select the 8" x 12" Sash Frames.
